Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Business Development Manager - Development Finance\n\nLocation: London (Office Based)\n Salary: Up to £100,000 per annum\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Development Finance professional to join a growing specialist lending team as a CRE Business Development Manager - Development Finance.\n\nThis role focuses on originating and managing development finance opportunities while building strong relationships across the broker and professional introducer market.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOriginate Development Finance lending opportunities up to £10 million.\nGenerate new business through brokers, developers, accountants, solicitors, and other introducer networks.\nUndertake initial assessment and review of development finance proposals.\nSupport transactions through underwriting, credit approval, and completion stages.\nPresent lending opportunities to internal approval committees.\nConduct site visits and assess development projects and associated risks.\nMaintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and ensure lending targets are achieved.\nMonitor market activity and identify opportunities within the development finance sector.\nEnsure lending decisions comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk standards.\nLiaise with valuers, solicitors, surveyors, and internal teams throughout the lending process.\nSupport wider business development and product initiatives within the lending function.\n\nRequirements\n\nPrevious experience within Development Finance, Property Finance, Commercial Real Estate Lending, Credit, or Underwriting.\nStrong understanding of development finance transactions and the UK lending environment.\nExisting network of brokers, developers, and professional introducers.\nAbility to analyse lending proposals and assess associated risks.\nExcellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.\nCommercially minded with strong business development capabilities.\n\nWhat's on Offer?\n\nCompetitive salary package.\nOpportunity to join a growing and ambitious lending business.\nHigh-profile client and introducer exposure.\nGenuine opportunity to influence business growth and lending strategy.\nCollaborative and professional working environment in Central London
